Back in my younger days, boring 1960's uncles often drove 'modern' Mk2 Jags (or the Daimler versions) ..........however the Mk2 Jag also gained popularity as a criminals getaway car for bank jobs as well as a Police patrol car......and as a result became the favourite car for being abused and written off in car chases during 1970's cop shows and films like the Sweeney.....before ending up as a classic car.
