Back in my younger days, boring 1960's uncles often drove 'modern' Mk2 Jags (or the Daimler versions) ..........however the Mk2 Jag also gained popularity as a criminals getaway car for bank jobs as well as a Police patrol car......and as a result became the favourite car for being abused and written off in car chases during 1970's cop shows and films like the Sweeney.....before ending up as a classic car. :lol:

This chase with John Wayne in Brannigan below also involves another classic chasing the Jag......the Ford Capri :thumbsup:

 

 

Note the red/black Mk1 Mini Cooper below waiting on Tower Bridge at the end of the 'jump' scene.

I have been left strict instructions not to bid on this as my new daily driver, as apparently "it might end up being a classic" isnt a good argument
