I wouldn't go for any ebay special conrods, it's not somewhere to skimp! I actually looked into these a few months ago, general verdict is that they are badly made items. If I were you I'd get a set of specialist components H beams.

Not much more expensive but definitely well made.

They look pretty much the same as the specialist components to me and the descriptions not far off. I would email sp and ask if they make them or are they from china?

If in doubt visit any supplier claiming to manufacture and ask to see the machinery they make them on,

If you can buy arrow rods.
Ive seen these cheap H section rods on ebay and have been tempted they look the same as s/c to me. this isnt a part of the engine you can skimp on and if they fail they do so in style I can vouch for that.

thank you very much. im worried about this part of the build most. been watching video after video and rebuilding the box and block is scaring the crap out of me.
i will look into arrow rods. anywhere in particular that do a good set for supercharged engines? im not great with turbos and superchargers so it worries me what i need to put into the thing lol.

outstanding... i have decided to go down the specialist componants 16v twin cam k series head conversion.... it seems like it will be better for life span of the engine and the cost will be less in the long run. any opinions???
