Why go to the effort of that much work when you can just use an existing hole that's available....

I've made one up, probably over complicated. A baffle to deflect the oil throw would definitely be in order. Various other motors have plastic filler/breather caps with sundry hose connections,you could see if there's one of adaptable proportions. The piccies in Ebay listing are great for identifying likely candidates, 'n I've seen a rack full of spurious ones in Halfords.

As others have siad, if you need that much more in the way of breathers, I'd suggest there is a problem that needs to be sorted elswhere (rings, bore, etc)

Fit a breather on the transfer case and link it to the rocker cover
Then if you still have breathing problems, i'd have a look at an evacsump

Fair enough, but I've put together some serious HP engines, mostly 16 valve, some based on small bore blocks, some big bore and never needed more than a single 1/2" Breather. I usually take them off from the Transfer Housing, it's all too easy to get Oil Surging up the ones on the Timing Chain cover.
