Would these work in the 3 clocks?

I would have thought so as they are 501s. Not too sure about headlight wiring as mine came with halogens already installed

They should do, but with the classic mini, i dont think you even need canbus ones. As long as the head fits into the housing they will be fine.

Sorry to bump an old post,

Led lights have always appealed to me due to how modern they appear.

What LEDs do people tend to use for the indicator lights?

Front/Rear with clear lenses set?

382 bulb - single filament for indicators front and rear only.
380 bulb - dual filament for stop tail,
With clear lenses you will need red stop/tail bulbs and orange indicators

just google something like 382 led bulb,

Hi Folks

I have a 1990 cooper with the same dials as the OP. Last night the bulb which illuminates the dials went out, so I need to replace it.

I tried removing the dials today for a better look behind, but I'm struggling to get the dials off. I have removed the two screws either side, taking off the driver's side binnacle to gain access to the right screw.

Does anyone know how to get the dials out to change the bulbs? The haynes manual says to pull it, but I don't want anything to break.

Thanks
