You'd think it would be somewhere wouldn't you?

Well, did you know that MG stands for Morris Garages?
DB (as in Aston Martin DB7) stands for David Brown!
SS (as in SS100 Jaguar) stands for Swallow Sidecars - Jaguars original name before the war brought about bad connections with the symbols SS.

Loads of useless trivia in my brain. :smartass:

SS in terms of American cars is Super Sport
442/ 4 barrel carbeurator/ 4 on the floor/ dual exhaust

But what does the S stand for in Cooper S?

Sport? Sprint? Stupidly quick?

Or maybe its supposed to be an S bend to show how good they are at cornering??

Ok going to be boring and state the obvious:
SU stands for skinners uniob.
TVR is taken from the owners first name....TreVoR...i do prefer TVR though
