Ive done a lot of research on the web unsure weather to go for kicker or JBL range 6x9 speakers mids, tweeters, sub and amps

or anything else anyone can suggest to me that im yet to look into

thinking of a 10" sub and amp in the boot of the mini, 6x9 rear shelf and bottom seat mids and tweeters up front

Not sure on the brands to go for. Alpine are pretty good quality...

If you have a sub in the back, then I think you need to put something around the bottoms of the speakers in the parcel shelf where they go through into the boot as the vibration from the sub can damage then, so I've heard.

It's not the vibration, it's the air the sub moves will push around the full range speakers as they are shareing the same air space.
If you box the rears on the shelf then that will save them from the sub killing them, but the lower end output will be lost.
Best to not bother with rear full range speakers at all, get a set of components up front with the sub in the back it will work the best.

I personally rate JBL over Kicker after having used them both previously.

i find alpine type e always blow but dont get me wrong they are great speakers till then. jbl are a safe bet. have you looked into boss audio? very good customer service and affordable too. mine 6x9s are still going strong and they have taken a beating for around 2 years now.

also i would go with the advice of 2 speakers in the cabin and a small sub in the back. although i run 6x9s and they fill the car pretty well

For build quality on entry level kit I would go for Focal comps and a JL sub.

I have Vibe slicks under my rear seat, they are nice quality and make a good sound with good amount of bass. I paid 35 quid new off eBay. Happy with that :)

Cool

in that Case I will stick to the Focal and JL recommendation.

Focal UTN5 - Utopia Line http://caraudiosecur...13cm-components @ a great value £2,000

and

JL 10W7-3AE http://www.caraudiod...versary-edition @ a loud and controlled £520

you want to get the right power for that Sub so maybe look at

JL Audio HD900/5 http://www.caraudiod...l-audio-hd900-5 @ £670 a great single unit solution for running the system fully active...

oh and with such great kit it would be a shame to feed it from a weak source unit... so i would recommend

Pioneer-dex-P99RS  http://www.caraudiod...oneer-dex-p99rs @ £1,000 I'm now running one of these and its amazing...

I would also allow another £600'ish for cable and sound deadening and install work, as you don't want to waste such great kit with an install that not up to the the same level.

We all have budgets, tell me your real range and i will happily help you out on a realistic system.  :proud:
