I would look at the JL audio W3 sub as the W7 although it's one of the ultimate subs ot is HUGE and is a pain to install well.

Sticking with Focal for the comps then look at the KRX2 comps http://caraudiosecur...17cm-components
But remember like any comps install is SO important, not giving them enough air space and adequate deadning will make them sound pants.

Are you thinking door builds or kick panel install for the mids?

If you are going to go fully active you need to make sure your headunit can output the channels you need 'actively'.

Also for the comps if you are running active you could look at some of the really special brands like ScanSpeak, Seas, Peerless, Morel, Rainbow, Phase Liner etc etc. These sort of drivers are not necessarily hugely expensive BUT they do need real understanding to buy and use as they won't normally come in a set as such, you will need to look at data sheets and select the right drivers to work together.

I'm currently running modded Focal K2P mid woofers, PhaseLiner mids and ScanSpeak Illuminator tweets. For me there is not a 'set' on the market that can match it. ;)

I will add one thing.

I'm purely recommending on build quality and technical spec, NOT SOUND.
Your ears are your ears, what you like might not be what I like. It is really best to find a stockist and listen to a few sets and drivers before putting money down :)

Budget I don't have just want quality and u have to pay for that.

Cool

in that Case I will stick to the Focal and JL recommendation.

Focal UTN5 - Utopia Line http://caraudiosecur...13cm-components @ a great value £2,000

and

JL 10W7-3AE http://www.caraudiod...versary-edition @ a loud and controlled £520

you want to get the right power for that Sub so maybe look at

JL Audio HD900/5 http://www.caraudiod...l-audio-hd900-5 @ £670 a great single unit solution for running the system fully active...

oh and with such great kit it would be a shame to feed it from a weak source unit... so i would recommend

Pioneer-dex-P99RS  http://www.caraudiod...oneer-dex-p99rs @ £1,000 I'm now running one of these and its amazing...

I would also allow another £600'ish for cable and sound deadening and install work, as you don't want to waste such great kit with an install that not up to the the same level.

We all have budgets, tell me your real range and i will happily help you out on a realistic system.  :proud:

Simply the best

Hi Ruckus, I am looking at getting a Genesis 4 or 5 channel S3. Can you recommend any 6.5" components for the fronts. Maybe around £200 -£300 ish?
