just one pin to hold the wire in place?

I would like one each side of the cut out so the is no way the barrel can come out.

Could you not just drill an extra pair of holes?

That said, a very simple but clever idea and not sure why no one has come up with these before.

Right this is not fair will you stop making all this bling please. I do like the idea of these and may just have to have a pair for my clubby. See you at Bingley.

Hi

No need for it really. The cable wants to stay in place naturally if you think about the direction it's pulling from. The crimping on the standard item and the pin on these is really only there as a back up. In this respect, these are the same as the SC designed ones that we have sold for years and I've never heard of an issue.

it would just be nice that it all stayed in place when you take the pin out of the handbrake actuation parts. I agree about when in use but not when doing service work.

I get what you are saying now :-)

Just done a test and, because the pin is on the drum side of the 'barrel', it isn't prone to coming out of the groove. So shouldn't be a problem, even when you disconnect from the back of the drum.

Ahh they are handed. Hope they will come with a RH and a LH engraved on them.

I guess you have a suitable pivot pin and washers etc to go with them?

Not sure what happened. Thanks for posting the correct URL. I've now also fixed the original link.

No left and right marked on them, but if they are fitted on the wrong side you can't get to the grease nipple! So nobody should get it wrong...... but there will always be one.... !

Dry suspension quadrants don't have washers, but pins are here.
