Hi all,
Big fan of minis old and new. My childhood seemed to be full of minis and Land rovers, both hold a massive place in my heart.
But to be honest, I am after some help, I am trying to find if my brothers 1st mini is still around, he is now on his 5th, I think. He has photos of them all, lots of photos, except his 1st. A 1976 mini 1000 which was purple. He sold it about 1985 whem he left the country for work.
I have done the normal vehicle checks, and it doesn't seen to have been scrapped etc, but wondered if anyone has any ideas as to how to find it. Would love to get a picture of it so my brother can complete picture collection

Welcome to the forum!
The sad fact is that alot of cars were scrapped before DVLA kept much of a record so they may still appear on the database as registered if they weren't declared scrapped.
Good luck with the search though. A member here recently found his old Mini for sale after searching for it so it is possible
