Now the problem is it is basically just a rolling shell. No engine no gearbox and no seats.
Now my problem starts with I'm going to need to get an engine but whether it be a v8 or an sr20 ect how does that go about with registering it?
Do you think it would be a lot of money for not a lot in return?
I have loads more questions but I'll wait to see if I get any replys.
The only reason I'm asking on here is because I know there are a few owners on this forum!
Ps I'm not getting rid of the mini!! :)

I love RX7s but I would be wary of one minus it's engine unless it's dirt cheap. Ones with swapped out engines don't fetch much compared to original engined ones.
It's 1000 pound and considering how rare they are I assume that's pretty cheap? Lol

thats cheap! buy it.
me and my mates have had some hilarious experiences with the *******-le engines. if you spend the right money you can get awsome power, but also serious unreliability if not looked after properly. personally as a project id get an ally block V8 in it!! the noises

theres an 04 plated one on gumtree right near me, spares or repairs for £300. Engine doesnt start. Im sure it would break for more money than that, wheels, seats tyres etc. Shame i havent got space for it.
edit: ignore me, its an rx8 near me.

Believe it or not but that's teh going rate for an 8! I have been VERY tempted by a couple over the last year or so. A grand will get you one with full MOT but little history (and servicing is key on them). Depending which variant in can be £425 for tax and you are lucky to get more than 20mpg out of them. They are amazing cars and I will get one at some point. I have had a couple of 7s but lost interest when they started getting 'slammed and drifted' and it was almost impossible to find a straight one.theres an 04 plated one on gumtree right near me, spares or repairs for £300. Agree with the Above. I was looking at an RX8 last year that was accident damaged. It was quite a late one in otherwise excellent condition with reasonably low miles. It was very cheap and i thought i had stumbled across a bargain.
However i did some research and discovered that even once repaired it wouldn't be worth a great deal and expected i would have trouble shifting it with such a high tax bracket and poor MPG

rx8s are awful!! they are ok for stock driving on roads and just being a bit of a pansy but if you want to tune up - man up - boost up and give it large, the 7 is the only one you should be looking at ;)
