Off work today, and just gone through the thread again from the start. What a brilliant job you’ve done Steve! Also made me start looking at Sportspack’s, as miss my old ones!

Pics from inside the sills. You may have to turn your computer/phone brightness up but you can see how much it's spread inside! The first 2 pics are the rear valance closing panels.

This is inside the N/S rear bin, on the right Is the subframe mounting bolt

Difficult to see this, but it's the rear sling bracket inside the sill

Here's the jacking point

As you can see, a damn good coverage!

Bloody hell, what a build! Great effort mate, and have to say the wheels suit the car perfectly! I had a late model mpi sports pack a good few years back and i always thought the stock wheels where a bit naff to be honest.

Wow, that really is good coverage. I take it the lance has multiple holes in the tube, so it sprays out in all directions?

Thanks for going to the effort of taking those pics Steve.

Yeh, the lance sprays perpendicular from the direction of the nozzle. No worries, I thought they maybe interesting for everyone to see!

Got cracking on with it today, weather was good! Got the fuel lines almost fully plumbed in, need to get some jubilee clips!

Wr4WgBA.jpg

Wiring loom fed through and installed in the rear

OQuFiuF.jpg

And i installed the handbrake! Now it doesn't roll away when i'm working on it lol

Tested out the rear carpet and speaker boards

HBNADoD.jpg

Got more of the wiring sorted. Can't do anymore until the engine goes in as need to figure out where a lot goes!

qQot7q9.jpg

Bit of closed cell foam in the battery box

KLwzWqn.jpg

Then came the tricky/nervous part!

And in

I still need to connect the drive shafts properly and touch up some of the subframe where i banged it with the engine :(

Started to fit the engine wiring loom, then got tired and confused, so that's where I left it for today!

Excellent work Steve, it's really coming together.

And better a bit of subframe paint rather than body/bulkhead!

Thanks all!

Had to bin the optimized automotive inner wheel arch covers. Stretch them a little to go round the contours of the wheel arch and the foam came off the vinyl. It all then lifted and left the foam stuck to the arches and the vinyl flapping everywhere. Tried the other side without stretching them and it looks like i've thrown them on.

This mini is stunning, excellent attention to detail.

Is that closed cell foam fully waterproof, need something similar.
