Long overdue an update. If i'm honest, the car has mostly sat like this, gathering dust.

 

 

I did, however, get my door cards back, so got cracking on with them. Needed a bit of modification to fit over a central locking bolt head, but overall, a nice addition with new bins.

 

 

Had a head scratch and came up with a very basic bracket to mount the air filter, believe it or not, this is the only place I have room for one now!

 

 

I also pulled my finger out and borrowed a trailer, loaded her up and used the work horse to drag her down to Matty at Fusion fabrications as its the only car I have with a bloody tow bar! She'll be there for some time after I gave Matt a long list of things I wanted doing - he's got his work cut out lol

Good to see you are still getting some progress.  Really love this build and looking forward to seeing it finished (and in mini mag).

 

What are the jobs to complete now?  Is it just a case of some finishing touches?

 

For you door furniture - i would change the handle and winder to the last edition alignment (pointing down towards the front of the car.  Keeping it OEM+ all the way!!!

After its back From Matt, its only finishing touches and a run in I think! I've made a list but they are all relatively minor although I do need a boost gauge!

Update from Matt, It's ready for collection! Really pleased with the work he's done.

 

Exhaust has been welded up to accept the pipework.

And the hardest part of all, the turbo piping.

 

 

Going to have to see to that rust on the cylinder head - it's bothering me now.
