8x13s all round!

Just finished the charge cooler/ supercharger piping, so just onto bulkhead now and ready to go !!!!

Be prepared for that thing to go like *******.......

re the suspension travel, its a bit like most things on these, suck it and see and if it needs an amount of adjustment then make the required adjustment. I was fortunate that mine rubbed more on the inner arch so I didn't have to do anything, other than change tyre size to stop it. As an adjustment you might be able to put a spacer in above the spring on the shock?? Just a thought...

I'm looking forward to seeing this up and running.

Well today was not a great day
Thought I better had try start the car as I hadn't since it was away for body work etc
Well it won't go
No spark and spark plugs are bone dry

Any ideas?

I've changed the injectors to a bigger size but I thought that would just now run rich and can't see why that would loose the spark

Not please !!!

As for this particular issue I would go round checking connections on the engine loom as the first port of call, especially as there's no spark.

Is there enough fuel in the tank?

Can you hear the fuel pump working?

have you got fuel pressure?

There were a few things I was going to say about your build (forgive me if you have these bases covered), if you are running above 10psi boost you will need a 4bar map sensor and your intake air temp sensor needs to be post intercooler.

I now have the car running, it was the crank sensor . First thing I changed and fired straight up.

Did you map off boost then, I mapped the last supercharged car off throttle position?    which one is the air temp sensor?

I have never mapped a thing, so I am going on what I have been told/learnt along the way. I am at my max psi (10) for the OEM MAP sensor. People that have put SC'd cars together and not used the correct plumbing of the MAP sensor (ie. left them in the same place on the throttle body, rather then relocating them to a pipe that sees the pressure from inside the manifold) have seen the motors running like sh!t as the MAP sensor keeps seeing negative pressure, when it should be seeing positive (boost). I guess it depends on which ECU you are using, the Hondata one seems to need this info.

The air temp sensor comes out of the loom at the same point as the MAP/MAF(not needed for SC'd motor)/TPS/all that lot.....   Not knowing the civic I would have guessed it went in somewhere between the filter and the throttle body. Before I intercooled mine that's where I had it, but once I started spinning the SC faster I was told to move it to the inlet manifold so he could see the manifold temps. I guess you could use this info to put in a failsafe if the IC pump stopped working and you started seeing crazy high inlet temps.

But if I map the fuel off throttle postion this will eliminate the need for a map sensor ?

I guess so as you're going to be mapping looking at the AFR and as long as the mix is OK through the rev range then why couldnt you.......

knowing what mine is and considering that you have a bigger charger and water to air intercooler, I'd stab at between 330-400, depending on how fast your spinning the blower.......
