i'm changing the engine on my min i found the engine i'm puttin in has a duplex kit so want to know how to tell what cam is in it

there's no real easy way to tell what the cam is, you'll have to take it out and have a look at it.
if its by piper or kent its usually stamped on it what cam it is. if its the standard cam, they usually have rings on, and the position and quantity of the rings tells you what the cam is.

It is stamped on the end that has the timing chain on if its Piper or Kent. The Kent has KC then 286 or whatever number cam it is and Piper have a P inside the shape of a cam lobe then the number of the cam and possibly a couple of other letters.

It has one ring on it I think its towards the timing chain end
