Like it. Looks great. You can have 'too much' chrome and that's a nice balance and good contrast to the body colour imo :)

So I mounted my new wheels than dismounted them 2 days later. Just can't bring myself to cut this car up! (Fender -1/4's) I love being flare less and I'm going to stay that way. Car has big plans this spring. Photos and build info to come very soon! Just drove 10hrs to bring her down to a friends garage/shop for some major upgrades! McGee custom minis..... We have some of the same thoughts on how to build/upgrade, So hopefully everything we are about to try works out!
Stay tuned!

Could you not of had the front enlarged and a new lip bent so that it would still be without the arch extensions ?

Pretty happy with how she sits for now....
New parts installed!! A bit tricky to install but now I feel a little better when I have the kids in the car.

Wow Looks Awesome Condition, the yellow looks stunning congrats. I would go with an Old English White Top.

I feel like I am a sales rep for this stuff (I'm not..) but having read through this and seeing how gorgeous your mini is, I thought I would suggest something. If you get alot of road salt going down in the cold months, (in scotland here it is ridiculous - there is literally a fog of salt in the air there is so much on the DRY roads - what the hell?) you could cover the underside with bilthamber dynax UC wax. Really good quality firm setting clear wax, you can still see all the painted underside / parts after it is on, and it will protect your car against the onset of rust from salt. You can even wash dirt off it with a cloth and soapy water, and it returns to like new , no stickiness or messiness. Just wanted to mention it!

Yes, they use salt here with just the thought of snow!
That's sounds like some good stuff! I will def looking into it! The car was under coated already but could be used on the new parts. Thank you for the info!
