I have some overspray on my revolutions. Does anyone have an idea for removing the paint plse.

hi what ive done in the past is use T cut and a soft cloth not only do you get the paint off you clean the wheels aswell hope this helps andyI have some overspray on my revolutions. Does anyone have an idea for removing the paint plse.

thanks andy, used t cut and scotch pad, wheels have come up a treat. next time I'll make sure that the wheels are properly covered

Or alternativley, you can use brake cleaner. Worked very well on my wheels.

Which is also quite corrosive on some wheel types and can lift the surfce of as it evaporates.

Well it wont damage the wheels if you wipe the brake cleaner off immediatley

depends really, it's more down to the quality of the wheel rather than the brake cleaner itself... but with more and more cheaper parts appearing in the mini market every month... who knows what alloy mixes wheels are being made of.
I don't doubt that brake cleaner works mate, infact it's damn near perfect for a few things including cleaning brakes (body degreaser being one other use)
t-cut leaves a waxy residue also which may help protect the wheel, or you can buy proper wheel waxing kits that claim to repel things like brake dust, road salt etc,...
either wya you'll need to maintain them a bit more now.
