Guys,

 

Please keep an eye on the bolts that hold the front suspension push rod in place (one at the rocker arm and one on the A-arm).

 

I've covered approx 9000miles in mine since getting it on the road, and below is the state that I found the top bolt, the bottom bolt was not as bad but I had replaced it earlier in the year. Note that the rose joint spans over the threads as well, not a good idea.....

 

Also note that lack anything whatsoever to undo the bolt with, it looks to have started life as socket head bolt that got turned down so there wasn't any socket left. what the hell. Mole grips came in handy getting it off.

 

FYI I used a high tensile hex head 3/8" bolt in its place and it cleared the part of the suspension that this had been machined down for.

I just found one of my sway bar links was sheared in half, so I am in the process of machining some bits.  Thanks for the heads up, thats what I will look into next
