For sale is my Mini Special 1979 1100.

I bought this a little over a week ago to celebrate my son leaving Hospital after a long term illness. However he now has returned to hospital for more treatment. Due to this I cannot justify keeping it and money needs to go elsewhere for my family.

The car is a mini special 1100 first registered 01\01\1980

It has original interior and bodywork, the engine starts and pulls strong and is original. I've never driven a 1098 and was surprised how much quicker they are over a 998.

It's got new revolution alloys and new Yoko tyres.

The bodywork is really good for the year but it does have rust underneath the bootlid. See pics. It's been filled and covered so this needs sorting out.

It also has some rust on the passenger side cill seam under the door and the rear quarter see pics.

The underneath is solid as are the subframes

Unfortunately it does have oversills :-(

Being a Special it should have some special features but some are missing.

Exacton wheels
Centre console
Steering wheel
And badges

It does have the glovebox.

I'm gutted to sell this but my family comes first.

It's had 6 previous owners and I believe it's genuine mileage 75k.

I paid £1800 last week for it which is what I'm asking for it.

I won't take offers, if I can't sell it I will do the necessary work and Mot it and take it to L2b.

I've been honest in the description and welcome any viewing.
I really believe this won't take much money to put right and make a lovely rare mini.

Thanks Kris

I think it's priced well.

I wouldn't drop it unless you really have to

and they closed the auction at a grand too, just allows people to make an informed choice

'This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available.' looks like somebody was trying to avoid paying any eBay fees?

It's not unusual for someone to view a car listed on eBay and strike up a deal there and then ending the listing early.

I would if i found a car i really wanted and was prepared to make an offer. It has noting to do with avoiding eBay fees

Listing even states sensible offers considered, I do alot on ebay (buying and selling) and deals are done all the time, correct Ben not about fees.

Come on, someone must be interested in this beaut!
