Done a fair bit this morning ! Braced it up further before starting to cut more rot out. This is the d/s sill

Rear bin rot now chopped out

Then finished removing the rest of the floor

Going to find the drill and remove the toeboard later on tonight.

Got a delivery yesterday :) all my shiny genuine panels! Apart from the cross member of course ;)

Removed the toe board

Removed the heelboard and part of the arch to repair it.


Before I can start welding I need to get a new bottle of gas ! Going to get that asap want this done by castle Combe ;)

So tonight I decided to repair the wheel arch

Ran out of gas just as I finished this piece so couldn't finish repairing the boot floor

Getting a new bottle Tomorrow so I will finish this side off!

So finished sorting the front edge of the boot floor popped the subby back on and bolted it all up to get the heelboard in the right place. Then welded it on :)

Sorted the b posts both sides ready for the floor to go in just need to order some panels for the a posts both sides as you can see they are quite rotten !


Going to get the panels ordered asap ! In the meantime I have the toeboard to prep ready to weld on

Drilled some holes today.........

Waiting on money to order some panels to carry on !

So the floor and toe board are prepped ready to be welded in. The toe board has been lined up using the front subframe on solid mounts.



Will get it welded up over the weekend then i really need the rest of the panels

So today I welded the toe board on and then got the floor clamped, tech screwed and then tacked in place.



Took lots of measurements and all is well :) will get it fully welded soon

I have made allot of progress today ! Floor is welded up and I have started grinding all the welds down.

Added in extra seam welded sections front and back just to add extra strength.

Tryed the sill on couldn't resist!

Also cleaned up the rack bracket and removed to from the toe board. Will get it welded on soon !

Grinded this half of the back down and blew some primer over it.

This is what i plan on doing with mine but fitting a complete bulkhead too, all the best Mark.

Thanks allot for this reply buddy :) was starting to think I was doing something wrong!!! It's allot easier to replace the whole floor like this than in sections. Thanks for the motivation !!!!!!
