You dont hang about so nice quick work there wont be to long until your flipping it back over to weld the rest up :)

Well as all the rot was mainly in the old floor once it's flipped back I should only have welds to grind down :). I want this mini done! Haha

Need some help guys! Can anyone tell me the distance between the bottom of the 'b' post to the top edge of the inner sill? I think I have made a mistake welding them together !

This is the bottom of the b post welded to top of inner sill. Hard to see if you have the rear bins still in ! Cheers mate

I have taken this picture.

 

 

It shows that the bottom of the B post comes to just above the top edge of the inner sill

Right so this shows there's a clear gap between these 2 peices ! The question is how big is the gap supposed to be ! :/

7mm on mine

Looks about 5mm , i would go and measure mine but its more rust than metal

Thanks for that guys ! I will sort that asap :)

So got my panel delivery today and got straight on with the p/s a post.

Took a while to peel away the layers but sorted out the hinge stregthener first.


Then sorted the inner Wing ready to weld in. The fitment on these is awful but I suppose that's what you get buying non gen :/

Going to get this welded up and solid before I sort out the inner closing panel as its hard to get to with the shell upside down XD.

Looking good nice to see some more new metal there also... So can't wait until I have space to work on mine :)
