Best way is to use an image hosting site like Photobucket or similar.. upload your pictures to that then when making a post click the "Image" button and paste the direct link into there.

Cam.

EDIT: Oh wow 3 posts in the space of a minute.. :P

You don't need photobucket but it would be helpful. I can download pics straight from Facebook.

You place pictures on an online location such as PhotoBucket.

When you are typing a post and want to include a picture, open a second window with the picture displayed.  Copy the web address for the picture onto the clipboard.  In the post you are writing, look at the icons above the field you are typing in.  On the bottom row of icons you will see a small picture of a tree.  Click on that icon and in the dialogue box that opens and paste the address of the picture.  Click OK (or whatever) and your picture will appear in the post if it is of an acceptable format.

Roo... imagine my surprise as when I was about to hit "POST", I got an alert that 3 posts were just made!

Photobucket is one of the most popular storage accounts and is easy to use.

Set up your account and it's free. Now choose a album name and start adding pictures to the album.

To use on here each picture will gave a small star in the top right corner. Click on this and a drop down appears. You need to click on the IMG CODE link. Thus will auto Copy the picture and all you need to do is paste it on here.
IPad does not have this small star so Click on the picture to enlarge it. Then once it opens to the right of the screen you will see share Links. Click on the IMG one. This is the bottom one. Again auto copies and then paste it on here.
This process also applies if you enlarge on a PC or laptop.

You can adjust the picture, resize etc on Photobucket so quite handy. There will be others out there which do the same but it's popular on here.
