Well my trusty clubby estate...
Did have a nice 1275 engine with 276 cam, nice head etc etc, was a great engine and served me very well for a few years. Went very well and took me around Europe, to Italy IMM etc.
All was well until it dropped a valve on the M1 going to Bingey a few weeks ago. The result looks like this -
I could just drop in another engine, I have loads but, that would just be boring. So I've picked up a BMW 16v K head and specialist components conversion kit. So started this afternoon with removing the somewhat ruined engine -
I want it to be a nice torquey lump with a nice long final drive, nothing lairy. And it needs to be done for the IMM in Lithuania in May!
