Pity you did not make it to the IMM under 16v power but at least you made it.My liver is still drying out,what an absolute epic IMM.

Looks amazing. just got a few questions. i am looking to do a 16v on my clubman 1310cc. how much did that set you back for the kit + head and where abouts did you locate the from was it online or at a scrap yard.

Hi Harry,
I bought the head and basic conversion kit from someone on here, I think I paid around £1000 which is a fair bit less than it would have cost me otherwise. Then the bill from Specialist Components for the machining work and everything else - alternator, fuel pump, wiring loom, engine management package etc was pretty substantial! My advice would be however straight forward and how much you think it will cost, it won't! It is considerably more complicated and no where near as cheap as SC make out it is and you probably think. I will tell you if it's worth it though when I have driven it!
