Hi,

I have a 1984 Mayfair and wanted to convert the standard 2 clock dash to a single central clock. Can anyone tell me if this is:
1 possible?
2 straightforward?
3 where I can get info on how to do it?

It is certainly possible.

 

As far as i know, you need to buy a central speedo and the housing (second hand) and then you can buy a wiring harness to convert your existing wiring to accept the new speedo.

 

I'm not sure if you would need to change the speedo cable or not though.

 

Then you will need the centre speedo dash liner cards to finish the job unless you have a wooden or other dash to go in.
