I am building a mk1 rally inspired car and was thinking of a few vintage sponsor decals.

Has anyone had success printing stickers with that sticker paper on amazon?

Cheers

My buddy is doing his own stickers and vinyl wrapping now :) he hasn't been doing them to long but he is half decent at both of them if you would be interested? :)

do you print with an inkjet?

I can't see it being very good or long lasting, I am sure the colors will fade.

Nah he has a laser cutter, so you get the adhesive vinyl (what ever is used for car stickers) in what ever colour you want. He then gets the image on his laptop, and uploads it to the laser cutter and that does the rest... He doesn't do it for money but he loves having a play about with his own car. And decided to just buy the lot lol

Sounds naff, I was hoping to print out a few at a fraction of the price that people charge.

If you put 'vintage rally sponsor stickwr' into eBay it comes up with a few vinyl stickers - though probably not as big as you would want.

Some of those are quite cool and can be up to 30cm. I doubt anything you print at home could be as good as a professionally produced one.
