Hi all. I've been looking at fitting a supercharger to my spi cooper. Been looking at the mini speed kit. My question is will the standard ecu simply work with this or do I need to upgrade to mappable ecu's. cheers

Not sure on the specific SPi or MPi, I have a retro (1976) fitted supercharged engine fitted with twin injectors running an Emerald ECU. I think the standard rover ECU's are not very flexible in terms of re-mapping etc. VMAX Scart built engine and s/c kit. Runs like a dream!
