Right welcome to my racer page...
My aims are to make my mini Low, wide, fast, and eat chav for breakfast! (If their up early enough)

First things I need to sort are a few rusty holes... so far an inspection shows the sills, and inner sills need doing, the rear arch, and a slight hole in to boot floor.

Once these bits are out of the way, I start striping it... going to stay with steel, well most of it, in tentions are...

Remove th rear bins, seat, drill a few holes into the rear seat, and remove/replace with FG with what ever is safe to.

Once this has been done, its time to drop her... I am going to use 10" KN Mercarys, with 7.5" cooper S disk setups. These will also be connected to Hi-Los.

The suspention, will be replace with Gaz lower shocks, all round, if I have enough time, I will also restore the subframes, and replace the mounts with Metal ones! Noise is not a worry!

so update, welding done, lowered as far as safe to (for now) new suspention, new brakes, new interoir...

This I hope to have done by the 10th of Aug, a week before MITP.

Once MITP is out of the way, I am going to start building my engine....

The base is a A+ Metro engine.
FULL strip down, new everything... the new size will be dependany on what I find...
If it needs a re-bore then it'll be a 1330, if not, a hone and new rings will be the way I go.
286 cam, MSPD Trackday head, fully worked bottom end, rebuilt gearbox, 3.44 FD, 4 pin diff.
Maniflow manifolds, and exhurst.

Then once I have sorted all that out.... a re-spray in Surf blue.

Pic as it stands now....

Sounds like my kind of car!

By the way, and since you´ll be running on 10s with Cooper S/GT disk brakes... will you keep those wheel arches?

A Sportspack!!!!!

You must be joking!

Well today, I changed the wheel to some std steelies... and OMG shes sitting low now!!!! Put her on the drive, and well I now have/need a trench to stop the exhurst scrping on the pavement!! Al I did was change from 13" to 12".... go know what its going to be like when I go for 10's.

Tomorrow, exhurst off, bonnet off, boot off, and generaly strip... as in, if I don't need it, it'll come out...

I don't like em...

and don't worry, the rest of my money is being used on the Mini, least with the Nissan, I now have a reliable motor to get from A-Z and not having to worry about nothing, but what CD to listen too... and how my petrol I have!

Got many thing to do, poke, and find the rust, new rear subframe, engine out, change the disks to 7.5's, weld the holes, dig out the filler thats in the seams, tidy up the wiring, fit my CF dash... loads to do.

Looking good mate. Gonna be a real suprise at the trafic crosses :D

I can only agree to what you said about changing from 13's to 12's. I did the opposite and found that i didn't hit any of the usual place anymore...

What is a CF dash?

Remember to take alot of pics.
