New Engine Going In
Posted 11 October 2015 - 10:31 AM
Started Out Again Late After Noon After Work (9/10/15) And On The Weekend (10/10/15) / (11/10/15) Picked Up An Engine Crane. Then We First Checked Over All Of The Bolt And Made Sure Everything Was In The Correct Places And At The Correct Tension. After That We Got The Engine In Place To Find One Bolt For The Engine Mount Didn't Line Up Because The Radiator (Morris 1100) Was In The Way And Was Rubbing On The Side Of The Engine Bay. So We Removed The Engine And I Went At The Side With A Hammer After That I Used A Little Bit Of Seem Sealant And Some Paint To Tidy It All Up. After That Had Dried We Sanded It A Little And Painted It Again. We Then Put The Engine Back In The Car But The Issues Was Not The Problem Like Before It Just Stated To Rain And That Made IT Hard To Do Anything So We Fitted It All In And Called It A Day.I Will Be Up Dating This As I Go So Keep An Eye Out

What a very nice car you have ...:0) .... I do envy you Aussies tho with your quarter light doors ... pah .... We have to fabricate our own up unless we spend a fortune on a kit...:0(
Cheers james
I wish i could get a clubman with internal hinges like Vinay-RS but i know the moment i get one i will miss the hinges being there. I guess there is always something we want different but its trying to get it.

Well of course would be a waste leaving it in the garage over summer. considering the fact i drive along the beach to get to places

Now that is properly cool. Seaside daily drive to work with the lovely summer sunshine in a retro cool clubby. Now that is the classic car experience
