i have a bit of a road trip coming up and want some good relaxing songs to listen to on the drive up there. Any ideas ?

Check out the composer Ludovico Einaudi. His music is very chilled.

You can't go wrong with fleetwood Mac or Pinkfloyd.

Tubular Bells. I listened to the whole album for the first time about 5 years ago and got totally hooked!

Parisienne Walkways is a classic. Blew me away when i first heard it

I second the 1975. I really like them. 

 

Brandon Flowers solo efforts are quite good as well. And for relaxing, a bit of Jimmy Nail. Also like Def Leppard, Beatles and The Kinks for relaxing drives.

I agree 100% with that they have been added to the little list.

so far i have around 50 or so songs so i am going well only 1hr more of songs and the 4 hours will be good :)
