im just about to sort out putting an amp in my car and I'm thinking about where to put the speaker and rca cables and well I thought about where the standard wires for the rear speakers currently go which is on the drivers side up the windscreen pillar and down the roof. Is it possible to run some new wires up this way by just attaching the new wires to the old ones at the back and the just pulling through from the front or am I going to have to run them down the floor?

I ran mine through the rear companion bin and along the inner sill. They are hidden pretty well to be honest and are accessible if needed. You could try it your way but decent RCA cable is pretty darn thick in my limited experience.
Edit: I managed to hide two massive RCA's and other cables behind the carpet. It is a little buggy but not too noticible.

When I had an amp in my spi, I ran it under the carpet in a ridge along the floor, not sure on the floor pan of earlier minis but could this be an option?
