Well. It's been a while. But I finally got the title sorted out. It officially is in my name. I had to go through an abonden car track and bond the title. But I received the letter that I can get it titled now. So I am planning to start the work soon. Didn't want to put money in without ownership papers. I'm going to start with the floors and work my way up. I beleive half pans and reuse the tunnel will be a good start. I have a spot welder and spot drill bits now.

I'm planning on restoring it to a race car but the main part I'm questioning is the dash. I kinda like the look of the original 63 dash, but sourcing parts will be difficult. I'm considering keeping the current one if it was raced and did well. Then I'll just restore it as is.

The dash is a 'Madadash' they were all the rage for modified Mini's in the 1970's.

Thanks, that's a weird dash but I think I'll keep mine for now. Have to figure out the switches and lights that were added before I take it all apart.

I kind of spammed a few sites to try to find the one guy that may have knowledge. So here MK1 and a Facebook group. All looking for history info and leads.
