I've just ordered one of these:

http://www.amazon.co...free car stereo

And would like to know what people's thoughts are on these multi-function type head units.  I want something I can connect as a handsfree kit to make calls, to connect via Bluetooth to my Android phone.  I want to be able to plug in a USB memory stick loaded with music and use it for that.  Just wondered if I had ordered it before really doing enough research. I'm assuming that you can answer incoming calls and it'll mute the music when the call connects?  Didn't really do any research before I ordered it to be honest.

It's going in the daily for now, then in the Mini at some point too.

Well, I'm just going to try it and see how it goes.  It should be here tomorrow.  I'll write up some feedback in a few weeks.

Highly recommend this head unit. Reeeally good interface for handsfree calling and playing music via Bluetooth.

OK, more feedback (actually, that's an appropriate term).

When I speak to the woman on handsfree, it sounds fine to me, but she complains that there's a constant clicking/crackle on the line that gives her a headache.  Could this be rectified with some kind of surpressor or something?

Possibly an ignition suppressor? Although I think that normally affects playback too..not sure though.
