I have a new project ..he,s called buzz

Its not too bad ...needs a full rebuild but the bits are all there and it hasn't been messed with 2 much.plan to keep it as original as possible so gonna carefully strip it down to a shell and sort the body work then reuse as many of the parts as I can

Looks nice. Are you keeping the same colour?

Er well the colour on the outside is a matt red and isn't original so I'll be painting it the colour of the dashboard and the rest of the interior which is orange I think it might be vermillion

My 850's Vermillion Red. I think it's a great colour

OK so done a few more bits
Exhaust and gear linkage out

 

Bulk head bits and most engine bits out

The interior is all out now and there's a few odd repairs in there ...
Its got over sills ..not a surprise ..however the passenger side one appears riveted on

 

Lots of patches that are screwed on

 

And most oddly the cross member appears to have part of another cross member inside it despite it not being rotten and it was also bolted on

 

Each hole had a bolt in ...odd

Try posting the IMG codes into your post instead of the DIRECT codes. That way, your images will show in the thread instead of having to follow links.

Got more done tonight ...busy weekend so won't get chance to do much for a week or so
The engine is now out almost without incident.....I wondered why the car was lifting up then just as I realised why PING!!! The pipe from the clutch slave snapped lol good job it'd had it anyway

 

 

Nice and grotty but oddly it all came apart pretty easy.
