I'm thinking of buying this, but don't know to be honest. Don't want to buy it and find out it's a replica. I really want aan FG monster beetle though.

Nitro seems to be getting more expansive now. Paid £27 ish for 25% optifuel for the MGT. It now needs a new glow plug. Only used it once or twice with that particular plug. Another thing that annoys me is the constant refills every 5 mins. Very fast though, and sounds nice.

I decided to dig my old 1/10th nitro buggy out of the garage and try to get running again having not been used for at least 4 years. partly because of this thread and my next door neighbour tugging away for nearly 5 hours till gone late at night, giving it all the ******* trying to get one of his started a few weeks back.
All I did was removed the glow plug and air filter, half filled the tank with the 4 year old fuel, opened the carb and primed the tank and pulled the starter cord a few times to prime the engine with fuel. Screwed the plug back in, connected the charged glow start and within 3 pulls it fired into life as if it had never been laid up.
Although, I'm really reluctant to use it. As dispite the box full of spares, from the last time I used to run it I would be very lucky to ever run through a tank of fuel without at least something not breaking. Normally something expensive and hard to get hold of like a diff or one-way bearing (£30 worth) in the 2 speed.
Although my electric M03 is starting to be just as expensive. In all of the 16 odd years I've been mucking around with rc cars, I managed to trash 3 steering servos within the space of 2 days

That monster truck is a large 1/8 scale truck. The only thing slighly bigger in the scale is the savage xl thingy.
