Since rolling the mini This is my new ride, a 1994 ford fiesta lx 1.1ltr. i know its not a mini but was cheap and does the job, plus its a little old so keeps me happy. Just a wait now for the insurance to pay out and to save up for another mini!

When i found it:

With a bit of polish:

Polished/unpolished:

A bit of the interior:

Do any of you have experience with these cars? Or know of any mods i can do to make it a little better and nicer for not huge amounts of money?

It looks like a good example. Any rot around the fuel flap?

I would just leave it as it is. No sense in spending out on it if it's only temporary.

It looks pretty good as it is.

Nice one!

Only rot is on the drivers side rear wheel arch.

I know its 'temporary' but that could be for a year or so as ill save up for a nice mini rather then just any. So not looking to spend alot on it, maybe just little things to help. Am already thinking of doing something about he suspension. It has alot of body roll in corners so not sure how to approach that one.

I had one of these many moons ago. Theyre pretty bulletproof if its the HCS engine (1.1 or 1.3). Mine had spindley anti-rollbars so body control was always poor. There isnt much scope with the low power models for anything but suspension but cost of parts barely makes it worth the effort.

I'd personally leave it alone. Just drive it and keep it clean. Otherwise the money you're saving for another mini you're wasting on the fiesta.
