Hi everyone,

I have built a low cost smart tracker which tells you the location of your mini when it is started. If it is not an authorised start, it can publish position alerts to Twitter.

I just need to know how to connect it to the electrics. It only needs 5v 1a and should be powered when the engine is on. how do I do that?

Thanks!

James

Not really the answer your looking for but if its only powered when the ignition is on, what happens if someone tows it away? Sorry if I have got it all wrong, not overly familiar with trackers.
