what was the point of Mini spares going, i thought they would have a stand and be selling bits. instead it was 3 or 4 cars and a trailer with photos in it. didnt see anyone there all day. if they had taken stock with them they would have sold loads. i did get a wooden steering wheel off the first trader and some chrome bits for the mini so happy anyway.

as it's been said before, if you want traders there are lots of other shows where they all appear.

I accept that, and went to watch a cracking day of racing (well, except for the Bini's)

I know the shows are not always about traders and as a former trader at Jap shows I know it's getting silly money to attend. You have to sell so much just to pay for the pitch. But on the other hand some people don't like ordering parts off the internet and don't get time to go to the suppliers. So its nice to have some stalls from the big companies and pick up some bits here and there. All you seem to get are sticker companies and tat that no one wants. The track action is good but it's nice to go and have a nose round and see what you can buy for your car.

i love racing at the festival every year,  disappointing though as i always feel it could be so much better, more of a crowd etc… seems to get smaller and smaller

I went 2 years ago, and it was great, last year was disappointing, so this year I didn't bother.

I was speaking to a trader there and she said it didn't cost anything to set up a trade stand and have the pitch which makes me honk that they have massively ripped off traders in the past and lost them all and are now just trying to get some there

Was a good weekend but as said was disappointed with the trade stands and lack of anything

When I did japshow at santana pod they wanted £500 for 20x20ft pitch. We had to sell items at just over cost just to pay for the pitch. We only did it so we could get people looking in the hope we would get some orders after the show. Some places are just greedy.
