Your probably going to find that it includes basic preperation only, i.e. key the car ..

Anything like rust removal, glass removal, dent repair etc will probably be extra,
Nothing is specified in the auction, so worthwhile clarifying exactally what is included in the price.

If they are doing everything then go for it, a nice 7 colour flip pearl paint would be nice at that price..

Doesn't say where you'd stand if its was a completely rubbish job either. And if you got it for £200 I don't believe they'd waste too much time on it!

Funny you should bring this up, i saw the auction but contacted them directly. I wouldn't like to say how much, but have negotiated an excellent price for doing mine and a couple of other people's mini's. Lets just say its less than the winning auction bid. Probably going to see them in person next week, i'm on holiday down that way.

Nah, as jammy basturd says if you get a sh#t paint job then you would possibly have no come back.
And as for most people who say "Respraying costs £1000s - nonsence, my whole car resprayed in white and black in two pack paint cost me £330!

I think what you will find when most folk say a respray for £1000 plus..

It is not just a respray, it is a restoration, ie, complete strip down, remove rusted panels
and subsequent rust on inner panels, replace, prep and respray, re-assemble....

A basic rub down and respray on a sound mini is not a big job.. and as you say sub 500 pound re-spray
on a decent mini is esily achievable..

A respray on a badly rusted mini or one needing body repairs done is a different story, and this also depends on the condition of the individual car..
