does anyone know how much brake horse power my standard rover cooper 1275cc gives out? (it has a cat on it)

my engine is 22 year old now, and 2 years ago it was pushing 45 bhp ,
its standard 1.0l with exhaust and inlet air filter and leads etc...
45 is brill for the age of the engine....
thats about what they are when new!

katie is running mg metro, hif and stage one kit...good for 73bhp....or so i have been told!!!!!

With a cat and and SPi I presume 61bhp and 66lb ft torque. I know this because I was dissapointed to find that my Sprite with the same engine but different ECU has 50bhp. Need an ECU swop.

well i have a mayfair with a gold seal engion it dont say what that has but it also has stage 1 on it any body know what it will have

Gold Seal engines are just BMC/BL/Austin Rover service replacements. SHOULD be exactly the same spec as the cars original, plus your Stage 1 (Minispares claim an extra 20% for theirs, but I don't know about others).
