As I said before I don't mind anyone trying the map I've had done. But I would check with specialist components to see if the map from the carb conversion kit is compatable with the mpi/spi kit, or at least what to look for in the programming so that you don't end up damaging your engine/catalytic converter.

I understand that not everyone has a r/r with a A serise injection specialist locally.

Ive had a word with sc today abput my problem and they said for me too just adjust the injector pulse , adjust it between 1-22 and see at what number it runs best, and that should get me running i did ask for a another map but they just ignored that , so il try that over weekend and see what happens

They have two maps posted for the SPi conversion:

http://twinkam.co.uk...s/SPI_Mini_Maps

There will be differences between the configuration for the different maps based on SPI/MPi or third party trigger wheel. Both of the above should have all the settings for the SPi conversion.

There is some information in the help files under ECU configuration as that is where the pulse width is modified.

I have a base map for a 1293 SPi with a 274 cam if any good to you.

It's for the SPi throttle body not the SC one, so this might make a difference (I built a 44mm SPi throttle body so didn't need to swap to the SC kit).

There are multiple configurations that are available for the SPi. You need a map to match the configuration you are using.

Which of the Rover components are you using continuing to use?

Is this a Delta or Typhoon ECU?

It would be best to start a new topic with your specific information as the previous posts may not apply to your situation.

Hey good morning
I am Max from Germany and I bought a Specialist components trottle Body with blue injectors and 50mm throttle body.
I am running a 274 Kent and I am using all original sensors except the trottle position potentiometer which is one from specialist components.
With my old Mems ECU the car will start but will idle way to high and will eventually shut down cause it’s running to rich. Spark plugs are black.
When I go into the software (SX Tune) I can see the trigger count. And it shows that the crank sensor is not synchronized (with what synchronized). If I try another crank trigger configuration (default is Ducati 46-2) like Mazda or something which has different teeth count but also two gaps the car wants to start but doesn’t at least it gives me spark and fuel. Which it doesn’t when I select Ducati trigger wheel configuration. My standard flywheel has 17-2 configuration.
I have no idea how I will be able to fix that issue.
I have a 1380 and a MED series 6 head with LCB and 1.5 high lift rockers
Do you have any suggestions for me ?
I would be happy if you reply.
Kind regards
