I'm building a roll over spot that mounts through the speedo hole and rear seat hole. I've got everything I need sorted but can't 100% make my mind up how tall the end uprights need to be so the mini can 360 rotate I reckon 850mm !
Input greatly received
Cheers chaps

I'll measure mine for you when I get down to the garage.

The pviol on mine is 42 inches from the floor. I hope that helps.

Mines about 950mm. 850mm will be too short - measure from the center of your hole, diagonally to the top corner of the roof and bottom of the flitch, then add a bit for safety.

have a look here - halfway down

Apols for hijacking the thread but does anyone know when the hole in the rear seats was discontinued?

My son's car is a '73, we're in the process of building a spit and there is no such hole.

I thought that Mk 3s normally had the hole?

I think the rear  Roto-Dip aperture was deleted on the later Mk3 cars

I've restored minis on tyres and on a jig and I've gotta admit I prefered working on it on tyres. No idea why just much more piece of mind :shy:
