By the time that  you allow for the swing of the bracing I`m afraid that a van etc would be a no-no. My Min is a Clubman saloon and that just goes under at 10` 4".

I know this is an old topic but I recently bought myself one and can confirm I am very happy with it so far. Will report back if anything goes wrong!

It's a tight fit so I highly doubt any of the large mini variants would fit. Worth noting that if you reverse in you can leave enough space for opening the front doors while still fitting the front inside the cover - just!

The item number for the one I purchased is 311406662670.

My drive is gravel so I couldn't directly bolt this down. Instead I got hold of four 45x45cm paving slabs (93p each here) and bolted it to these. These are further weighted down with large concrete blocks. I haven't yet secured the front but will do after reading this thread!

Will add pictures later once I've taken some

Edit: Here you go:

So far I think it's worth it but will have to see how it stands up to high winds. The parts are well made and I hope that when sufficiently weighed down it will cope well. I have tried two alternatives before this:

1. Cheap gazebo (£40)

It stood up OK to wind as it has no sides, but it offered little actual rain cover and buckled under the weight of rain water collecting on the roof. Lasted <1 month

2. 6m x 3m 'Heavy Duty' Car Port (£160 inc P&P)

Lasted about one week. Metal poles bucked under wind and rain load. Admittedly wasn't properly weighed down but it collapsed immediately. HUGE waste of money. Felt cheap too. Would have been useful in theory for working under.

3. This was £185 inc postage. There is no space to work under it but I will just work on dry days. The shape limits wind and rain loading and it feels much better made.

I borrowed a 12x12 mil spec tent from work. It may cause an issue with venting...
