That will be the end of the summer if you do Ben! Ha

I'm just annoyed because it was working well but then i had to remove the A/C pipes to do an engine change and lost all the refrigerant :(

Air con is uncomfortably cold in my car. Does this help?

No that does not help. I wonder if there is anyway of syphoning off your gas?

Bhahahaa,,,, gotta say, I do find many of these post 'amusing' - Bobby will know what I'm on about,,,,,,

Had the first frost of winter here this morning, even had to hose the windscreen for a minute! I think it was 20 but with a wind (breeze) chill factor, was below zero,,,,,,

But 340  ,,,,,,,  that's very much at the cooler end of a normal summer's day for us   :-)

34 degrees in the lab today, getting towards silly temp when you factor in lab coat and goggles etc. but not complaining now I am sat at home in shorts!

What type of lab do you work in out of interest?

Our record was 42.4 degrees a couple of years ago. Even worse because we have to have all the furnaces still running in the lab..

With a hot day in the UK its not so much the heat that gets to you, but the humidity.

Pretty much all of us have experienced similar temperatures abroad, and 34c in say Spain, feels a lot less than 34c in the UK.

According to the weather, the "feels like" temperature for yesterday was over 40c in some parts of the country.

Yeah, the humidity - it does get quite humid where we are and it really knocks one about. Although it does get hot here (40's not uncommon), I have to say, I don't like it - especially when the humidity goes over about to 70% mark!!

Oh come on mate, what a load of bleedin' rubbish that is!!!  We have to stop to go to the butcher's and the bottle shop,,,,

Thankfully that's only about once a day,,,,,,,,,

You could invite the butcher to the barbie but tell them to bring plenty of meat?

Darn! Typical - I have just removed all the air con system from my Japanese re-import Mini - now it's in a box in the garage!  'Air con, who needs that in the UK climate!' Ha Ha.

Better stock up on sun tan lotion.

Had a little giggle at some of the heat comments - having endured both Iraq and Afghan where the temp was well in the 40s C then add in full combat kit and body armour, helmet, gloves, ballistic undies (yep really) etc etc then get into an armoured box on wheels (or tracks in Iraq) it was like being baked!  Being a civvy now I laugh at work colleagues when it hits high 20s C and they all say they cant cope.  I cheered them up by introducing them to some quaint Army sayings - one being if your looking for sympathy - it lies between sh*t and syphilis in the dictionary! :D  :D  :D
