hi all

just recently dry fitted my vtec road frame to my mini, but after looking at some photos of other builds both on here and elsewhere iam beginning to think its in the wrong place when i first got the frame i was told in a email from z cars that the floor needed to be cut 26 and a half inches from the mini cross member which i did, the only thing is now the front part of the frame sits roughly about 25mm back from the orignal lower dash rail of the car is this correct? like i say on other builds it seems to be up tight to this rail hope this makes sense. read on this site somewhere that the dimension should be 655mm hope i don,t have to alter the frame now as the car is panited inside, (could be worse i suppose i could have cut too much off!!) any advice much appreciated thanks
