So went down to a rainy Devon today, to pick up my brothers new mini van, he couldn't get insured on it due to it's modifications so I had to be(such a shame)
Spec
1971 South African import
1.3
Stage 5 head
Weber 45
Balance bottom end
Straight cut box
Lightened flywheel
Omega Pistons
Bucket seats and harnesses

Saw this on ebay,very 70's!I like it.Is it fun to drive

It's really fun to drive, it was a shame it was raining, and it doesn't half go if you put your foot down, and the straight cut box and weber sound sweet!
Had to wear ear defenders because it's so loud.
It also got a lot of attention on the motorway.
It's a shame thought that my first mini wave in it didn't get a wave back :(

Yeah I don't really like the colour, but it just makes it look different.

Hey I know that car! It was rebuilt in Cape Town by one of the local mini specialists.

So went and collected the "cheap" K&N air filter (£100 later)

And found out that the clutch slips under acceleration, bugger!
