So not updated this for a while!

Been pretty busy with work but now silly season is over i have time to sort this out.

I've actually done quite a lot to this.

So I was doing a metro turbo conversion on my saloon, but chose to go 16v instead, so that freed up the metro turbo for this.

Its a Metro turbo, 1310, GT1752 turbo, fusion fabrication manifold, mega jolt ignition, that's the basic spec, hope to have it running before christmas so i can sort my mini out before summer!

This is how the engine sits now:

So a to do list, with things off the top of my head:

Modify turbo so i can put the 4th manifold stud and nut on, already drilled out the turbo threads, just need to grind.
Rotate turbo and make a bracket to relocate the actuator.
Find a place to put the fuel pressure regulator, then plumb in fuel return.
Fit trigger wheel and sensor.
Put radiator and other cooling system parts on, and paint some of them.
Buy some adjustable engine steadies.
Buy a lambda sensor and gauge.
Still looking for a throttle linkage for this.
Dont think theres much more before we can put the engine in. My biggest worry is sorting out the megajolt

Small update:

The engine has been in a while, there's not too much more to do, but as everyone knows random jobs come out of nowhere.

This is what it looks like currently:

Nearly there, just need to sort out the wiring, get an air filter, fill up with fluids, put the engine earth on and HT leads and spark plugs, then we can have a look at getting it started:
