Trying to track down my dads old mini, long shot but worth a try
Vehicle enquiry has nothing
Reg : Kau 778Y

Any help is much appreciated :)

It's not insured and I can't find it taxed or sorn under must of the obvious makes possible, might be a goner :-(

It's not certain that it's gone, you could try more makes in the vehicle tax database.

Are you certain that KAU 778Y is the correct registration? KAU with a Y suffix was not issued in period and Y plate Clubman is a rare thing.

The original photo is a lot clearer
The 8 did look more like a B but apparently that would be incorrect

It was askmid I did in post #2 as I thought that would prove a car with that reg is on the road with needing to know if its an austin, morris, leyland, rover etc etc etc.
