This is the one that was linked before by me and another member but a few hours later, the links went to an ebay advert for a Black Mini van instead.

At least there's not the usual rust to cut out! No over sills.

Why is this being reported?

The seller is selling what he is describing - What the buyer does with it is a different matter

I must admit it's a tricky one, there are cars on this forum with similar amounts of original body left after a restoration but at least they were normally complete cars on purchase.

As it would still be technically illegal for it ever to be rebuilt from what the seller has then I suppose really it's no different than selling the V5 on it's own or the usual "can post the important bits" we see?

I think its more to do with the fact there is not enough of the original body to justify the V5.

Yes you could replace all the panels with repair panels and it would be legal, but who in there right mind would save that in that way (one brave person)

It still wouldn't have enough points to return "legally" to the road without the original sub frames and engine, of course they might "turn up" in a barn later?

Just like the others that have some scrappy old bits and the V5, yet we all still moan about it, I see it just the same. Including that piece of scrap just so he can get rid of the V5 with it! I bet that's his intensions so yes I have reported

Probably why it was changed or pulled last time from the sale.

Reported what though, the seller for selling what he is describing and those bit not being illegal to sell?

Yes we all know how and where this will end up but this is not the issue of the seller

I have a spare steering column, keys and full set of wheels some gearbox bits, and a rocker cover and a decrepit front subby etc - now if I could just find a spare V5 I could sell as a resto

I am of course 'extracting the urine'!!!!

What a ridiculous advert!!!

It's just like the last one that was of topic on here, the pick up V5 and all the parts!

This guy has just tried to word it better, and let's be honest, they are only going to go after it for the logbook, he knows that, but just to try and keep everyone happy he's trying to clog it with that scrap what's left.

Exactly the same so tough **** if he can't flog it
