Just a quick question on engine mounts for Honda Engine in my Monte Carlo i noticed the mounts at the

the bulk head had a small crack in the rubber so purchased ENERGY SUSPENSION Engine Mount Inserts to take up the play this insert was also fitted to the front mounting as well.

 

I then found the mount to the passanger side of the car was delaminating and needs replacing, from what i have found out I have to purchase a honda part 50805-s6m-j01 and then this is modified to fit the Z Car's mount, is this something we are able to do or does it have to be returned to Z Cars for them to mod. 

 

Honda have told me its a  back back order so dont expect it till the end of August so no car for the lovely summer !!!!!!!!!

or is there another option.

I didn't know the answer off the top of my head so I have had a look around on the tinternet to see if I can find an answer, seems the mount is altered considerably.

 

These are the OEM Mounts:

 

 

As you will know - this is what the Zcars version looks like:

 

 

I think if you can get the replacement part you could most probably press the rubber out and the press it into the Zcars outer mount......???

That's the answer I was looking for  ''press out''.

Just the long weight for Honda.

Mr Honda phoned to day to say the mount had arrived so job done and a wee shake down run.
