I currently have a hs4 that I have just rebuilt but am starting to have second thoughts about it working properly with my engine, my engine is a 998 with a 12g295 ported ect and a 276 cam, should I change to the hif38 or will the hs4 do ok? cheers:)

Unless it's cheaper to buy the HIF38, there's nothing wrong size wise with a HS4 for your engine.

The hs4 is a great carb, if you want to upgrade buy a copy of visards yellow book and modify it
